Assessment Sequences

1. Explain test purpose and procedures
2. Explain stimulus and expected response
3. OT demonstrates test on self
4. Demonstrate on client’s less involved side with visual input
5. Test the less involved side with vision occluded
6. Test the more involved side with vision occluded

Items Need in Sensation Kit

  • Assessment form
  • Sensory shield (folder/anything to block pt. vision)
  • Cotton Swab
  • Toothpicks
  • Hot/Cold probs
  • Unsharpend Pencil
